A chef falls for the rustic elegance and old-world heart of a historic Florida home and fills it with the welcoming comfort of his native Italy.

A bouquet of sunflowers brings home the sun-drenched Italian countryside. Flanked by jeweled-color votives, a one-of-a kind antique Italian brass clock presides over the carved stone mantel. With its warm tones, plaster walls, stones, bricks and tiles, the kitchen is a study in Tuscan style. Handcrafted Italian pitchers and plates share the limelight with ruby red glasses.
