Feeling Groovy
This Tennessee cottage combines living space and free-spirited guest quarters under one roof.

No two pillows match, yet the overall living room has has a fine gypsy vibe. A tapestry, gauzy fabric and a star light fixture create dreamy canopy. Geometric shapes unite a gallery wall of favorite items. Hung from the ceiling, white mesh fabric and vintage fringed shawls create a canopy in the guest bedroom. Blue and green accessories set the tone for the bedroom. Savannah and Casey embrace brilliant colors throughout their home. A large-scale leafy duvet set and a low rattan table bring a a tropical vibe to the bedroom. Against a black wall, a tiger-maple hutch takes on a jewel-like glow. Chairs reupholstered with a banana leaf fabric keep company to a refinished thrift store table. A portrait of singer Stevie Nicks breaks up the graphic wallpaper. A tiered hanging vegetable basket is repurposed as a plant holder.
The ceramic chieftain head was just too good to pass up. On the second floor landing, an extra sleeping area was created by adding a wall. Homeowners Casey and Savannah, best friends and bloggers, with their pup Hazel.

Pretty details, like the lampshade and vase are always part of Jennifer's decorating touches. Textile designer Jennifer Paganelli and her best friend. In the master bedroom, tone-on-tone damasks offerS a soft layer without detracting from the showcase fabrics. Jennifer works with colors three have a similar energy level––the same brightness. In vases and on textiles, flowers grace Jennifer's rooms. Playful accents join fabrics in pumped up pastels. Sunny yellow walls wrap it all up. Jennifer serves up less eye-popping pattern in the dining room so that her favorite collection— watery blue glassware— can steal the scene.

Good Vibrations
Eclectic finds and a flair for the exotic give a Gulf Coast cottage its well-travelled allure.

A wall of glass blocks between the vintage tub and the shower provides privacy. Nina’s knack for mixing patterns and textures is evident on the open shelves. Nina turned the enclosed porch into a cozy sitting room complete with a sofa draped in gauzy netting. A cut-glass aqua lantern adds a touch of intrigue and complements the color scheme. Homeowner Nina and her rescued dog and BFF Yeshi. Nature comes in via giant leaves gathered from the garden. Vintage silverware and an etched-glass carafe are fitting for the stylish yet simple table setting. The weathered dining room table is given a face-lift with an embroidered sari laid atop a white cotton sheet. Fresh flowers and fruit are staples of Nina’s lifestyle. Fresh flowers and curated accents epitomize Nina’s unique way of uniting textures and styles. The well-used countertop indicates a love of cooking. Nina's soulful personality comes through in spaces with a calming and welcoming energy.

Patterns of Behaviour
Its' all in a day's work for a decorative artist who fills her home with colorful stencil projects and global goods.

Glass fishing floats add bright spots of color to the rustic coffee table. A visit to the palace of Versailles inspired this work of art glass. Shades of blues and greens enliven the living room. Stenciled salvage planks are fashioned into an exotic headboard. A chalkboard keeps track of artistic projects. A mix of linens and objects from far-away-lands give the guest room a carefree caravan vibe. The side table is currently white but is always changing based on Debbie's artistic inspiration. Gold is the common thread in this bedroom corner. Metallic finishes transform an old dresser into a unique vanity. Gold paint unifies a flea market frame and a new letter H one a reclaimed mantel. Salvaged columns ad visual interest and height. A small garden table holds items in the same color family. A century-old European cabinet with the original finish is given pride of place in the living room. A stardust mirror over a pattern of gold-foil dots make a striking focal point
