Synopsis
At the Greensboro, North Carolina, home of Steve and Debbie Hayes, the only constant is change, but that's what you get when the inhabitants are a contractor and his artist wife. Steve and Debbie have made their ranch-style house their home for over 30 years, but anything that can be painted is, and regularly. "Steve can leave for a work in the morning and come home to surprises, for sure. He is so easy going. He just goes with it!" Debbie says. Paint and decor is Debbie's passion, and the Hayes' home serves as both test lab and hub for her small business, which provides solutions for individuals, small retailers and paint companies in the USA and Canada that focus on DIY creative projects, Throughout the couple's home, folkloric patterns and global elements like stitched Kantha quilts, Mongolian lamb wool throws, and baskets from Uganda add exotic flair to more traditional surroundings, resulting in spaces that are soulful, comfortable and personal. Debbie's talents have taken her around the world and her home reflects her adventures and eclectic style.
