Synopsis
The new built house had large white room with a lot of natural light where it was fitted with a colorful kitchen. Monica, who normally works to sell, design and plan kitchens, has a good eye on what she likes.
"Yellow has always been a favorite colour, so after we thought about many different alternatives, we thought well, why not yellow?", Says Monica.
Symmetry and contrast were two guiding principles in the planning of the kitchen. For a softer style they chose to lay solid oak on the bar. They did not want wooden floors in the kitchen, nor stone or ceramic floor with many joints so they chose a floor in Silestone which comes in large pieces. These have a subtle glitter sparkle that lifts the gray floor put of the ordinary. This is a contemporary, modern kitchen.
