Studentenkoten Loft Living

Synopsis
The owners of this house fell for the charm and atmosphere of the old master house. The house already had an existing division which divided the house into 3 apartments and the good location in the heart of the centre of Gent made the purchase very interesting as investment. A lthough the house was inhabited, the flats were dirty and decrepit and needed a lot of attention. The owners asked for the help of Ilse and Philip of the design shop Loft Living of Nieuwpoort. They guided the renovation and decorated each flat into a successful starters mix. The apartments each have one bedroom and are all fully furnished. “Ideal for young people: they don’t have a lot of stuff yet and they miss the budget to buy a lot of furniture. When you can share a place like this as couple, you don’t pay more than each a study room”, says Ilse.
