Synopsis
He later moved there permanently. In the past it had been converted into four apartments and had a kitchen on each floor. Simon, who had set up an antiques shop in the village, virtually camped out in the house until he met John Bennett, who joined him and instigated a series of thorough renovations. For three years they lived in chaos until they had restored the property to its original, beautiful proportions and filled it with an eclectic mix of furniture.
