Synopsis
Located out of sight away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton, the lodge, once owned by the gardener to the surrounding Edwardian estate now takes on a new lease of life, after having been seriously neglected for the past forty years. Sarah and Ben came across the lodge, whilst pushing their new born baby, Mae in her pram around the local area, they would peak through the gates of the secret house and garden, a hidden gem, nestled amongst large Edwardian houses. “We just loved the look of it with it’s, quirky spire, weathervane and beautiful windows, colonial almost in it’s style, and of course the amazing garden, which was at the time completely overgrown and unkempt. “We never dreamt we would own it,” says Sarah. Until one day she spotted a photograph of the house in the local paper stating that it was for sale.
