Synopsis
Driving home after a party one afternoon, Ruby and Ian noticed a for sale sign outside a picture postcard house with a white picket fence. “From the outside it ticked all the boxes” says Ruby. The detached house was on a large corner plot with plenty of period charm. Situated on an open common, it was perfect for walking Dolly. The next day, Ruby and Ian went to have a look inside.The couple were searching for a property to modernise. “We thought it was going to be a perfect renovation project to sell and move on” says Ruby, but the longer they lived there, the more it became their dream home.
