Synopsis
This house from 1860 is situated right beside the famous canal Göta Kanal in the little village Sjötorp in Sweden. From the veranda you sit in the front row and look out over the boats.

The house was built once by a sea captain and was his home for some years. But it has also served as a post office. When the young family moved in, it was not very attractive. The exterior was intact with all joinery details from the 19th century but the interior was not much left from that time. But Anna saw the possibilities and the couple decided to buy. They have spent considerable time and effort to recreate the original. But they have also put their own mark on the home and the house is filled with heirlooms and furniture from the auction or flea market.
