Synopsis
‘We pick up the children from school and if the tides are right, take them for a picnic at Morvah - you walk through a farm with goats and lambs to get there and it’s like something from a Beatrix Potter book.’
All a far cry from their former lives living in London and working as solicitors - Philippa in the highly charged area of family law while David was a partner in a shipping and offshore law firm. ‘I was able to travel with my job which was great,’ recalls David. ‘But it began to dawn on me that over the last twenty years, I’d been with the same firm, in the same office - in fact, I’d only moved desks a couple of times!’
