Synopsis
The reconfiguration of this ground floor apartment involved absorbing one of the three bedrooms to create a light-filled open-plan living area that functions as the heart of the home. While the kitchen and bathroom were completely gutted and modernised, original features such as the wooden floorboards were retained and dado and picture rails were replicated. The play of bright colour against dark makes for bold, energetic spaces.
