When Michael Thomas and his partner, Christian le Leon, decided to leave London for a more peaceful life in the country, they bought a run-down farmhouse near Tunbridge Wells.

Synopsis
It was dark with low ceilings so Michael, who had some property renovating experience, hired builders to reconfigure the space. He raised ceilings, opened up the kitchen and dining rooms to make one large space and added a new bedroom and bathroom. Christian decorated the interior to highlight their collection of art and books and incorporate antique pieces with new purchases.
