Synopsis
When Maria bought the top floor, one bedroom flat in Fulham London, it was dark, pokey and damp. There was a lack of storage space. She needed to maximize the light and space to suit her requirements, and she also needed a separate studio for her photographic work. The original bathroom was transformed into a studio and an ensuite shower room created off the main bedroom. The feeling of space has been maximised by removing the ceiling and installing a velux in the roof while clever storage space has been created along the entrance. The use of monochrome, and mirrored furniture add a touch of thirties glamour whilst still retaining a contemporary look.
