Synopsis
After meeting British partner Jonny through work, she became pregnant with daughter, Emma, now 12, and made the big move here in 1998. “I always thought, even then, that we’d end up living in Sweden, but Jonny needed to be near London for work. We rented a flat in Shepherds Bush initially, which was fun, but it wasn’t going to be where we wanted to bring up children. Johnny is a huge rugby fan and he suggested we try Twickenham, on the outskirts of London, where the prices were better and there were good schools and plenty of greenery.
