Synopsis
Katie and George Evan’s large, Gothic style Victorian house set in woodland in West Sussex, offered masses of space, but with a large family they could not afford to give up any of the 5 bedrooms for a much needed second bathroom. Having lived there for 5 years and with an endless stream of visitors, something had to be done. The solution was to create a bathroom within the main bedroom. By fitting an elegant French style roll top bath and traditional washbasin; the bathing area integrates seamlessly with the bedroom area. The French bed and furniture unify the style, while soft greys give the room a tranquil feel. Pale grey floorboards complete the look.
