Synopsis
Fay Holt added lots of panelling, which immediately added interest and texture to the featureless new-build rooms, in the process choosing to keep the busy areas, like the open-plan living area, quite calm and simple using a monochrome scheme, adding more colour to the 'quiet' rooms, like the bedroom and the living room to create cosy spaces. The main journey for Fay, though, was to personalise the rooms using handmade touches and beautiful pieces of furniture that she's collected over the years, and now you'd never know her home was only a few years old.
