Synopsis
Artist, Costas Picadas, was looking for a house in the country where he could also build an art studio. He found a five acre property near Roxburty Connecticut with an old house and a large barn that he could turn into a studio. Picadas enlisted the help of architect Giorgio Maroulis and designer Claire Maestroni of Voce Di Design to transform the old house into a modern living space. The walls and attic were demolished to open up the space with high ceilings and an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The color scheme is black and white with tones of grey which also gives the interior of the house a more modern look.
