Synopsis
She bought the house knowing it needed lots doing to it and that it was going to be a project of several stages. It hadn’t been updated for probably 20 years and every room needed renovating. ‘We’ve kept the lovely traditional touches, but put in a new kitchen, a new bathroom, both in a sympathetic style to the house, as well as ripping out all the carpets and floors and changing the flooring in every room, painting the existing boarding and all the walls in pastel colours, replastering where necessary and bringing shedloads of character with my collections of ceramics, fabrics and retro toys.
