Synopsis
On the Island Getterön, just outside Varberg, 40 km south of Gothenburg, the local authority traditionaly safeguarde open areas to preserve the charm of the area with small summer houses, even if they are used as permanent residences throughout the year. The authority is fairly restrictive wtih building permits. The foundation of the house can only be a maximum of 80 square meters and you cannot have a furnished basement or full standing height of a second floor. For Martin and Anna restrictions are no obstacle, this is the place they wanted to live, so the house was simply adapted to the rules.

Both originally from the area, Anna's mother's family run a business at Getterön for many years. Martin is a teacher at Mark's High School and Anna, who has previously worked as a section manager at H&M's purchasing department, now works in the family business selling cars. They have both travelled extensively and lived in many different places, but when the time came to start a family they longed to return home.
