Synopsis
Whilst I loved my old house, with three boys we really needed more downstairs living space. So when this one came on the market, we snapped it up. Mind you, it was in a terrible state, with threadbare carpets, peeling wallpaper and a real 1970s feel throughout. There was so much work that needed doing we decided to rent a flat for six months away from all the chaos. And, with a new heating system having to be put in, it was a perfect time to sort the bathroom out.
