Alison Storr, a life concierge enlisted Sydney Maag (of www.numbernineantiques.com) to create a pretty, glamourous but laid-back home for her in Sag Harbour in the Hamptons.

Synopsis
Sydney had lived in Sag Harbour herself and knew that there were lots of great local sources for antiques and accessories. She made sure that the house felt beachy, referring to its seaside setting with natural textures and soft colours, but never kitsch or 'themed'. Maag combined 'high' and 'low', mixing antiques and vintage with simple pieces from West Elm. The exterior of the three bedroomed cottage was given a smart face-lift too with cedar shingles and black trim.
