Synopsis
“I was living on my own with my two sons in a three bedroom house in the area, when I met a friend’s neighbour at a dinner party, we got chatting and it transpired that she wanted to downsize, and we wanted to upsize, so to cut a long story short we did a house swap.” Ali and her now husband, Russ moved into the elegant double fronted, Victorian villa, which became their first family home together. Despite the original features, the interior was a shrine to Greek holidays, with arches, terracotta walls and an entire wall painted with an animal scene, the kitchen had green walls with red and white tiles, while the bathroom had a brown shag pile carpet.
