Synopsis
In need of a guest room, Emily and Sloane Southard skipped the conventional reno and instead built a tree house elevated just a few feet off the ground behind their house in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple dubbed the 100-square-foot escape the Fox House. The charming, no-frills hideaway 'set on a verdant 2-acres woodsy property, offers a living area featuring a bedroom and living space furnished with antiques, including a writing desk and a vintage sofa. 'We wanted to create a space where people can set aside their usual pace and conveniences and take an opportunity to be still and align with nature.'
