Synopsis
When Erin Anderson moved to Tennessee from California she fell in love with the quaint town of Franklin and the slower pace of Southern small town life. Erin and her husband Dan bought a 1970-era two-story home. The place was a bit dated-looking but Erin relished the opportunity to create something new. It gave her a chance to put her artist skills to work, which she did by not only painted the whole house but also refurbishing salvaged furniture and create new artwork for her walls. She scoured flea markets to find pieces in need of love and cleaned and painted them. Chalky-finish paint is her secret weapons for items that are dull or dark. She kept a blue and white color theme going through her rooms to provide and homogenous look and continuity. And, of course, she include many of her own paintings to personalize each space.
