Synopsis
Tamryn Walker's unassuming brick home is a beautifully preserved example of Victorian era residential architecture in Johannesburg. Inside, the colourful cornucopia of her love of all things vintage, eclectic, and whimsical provides an exuberant backdrop for her kaftan boutique. As a tribute to its grand heritage, Tamryn affectionately refers to the house as 'The Duchess' and behind it, the cottage in which her mother lives, is known as 'The Gatehouse'. Both speak earnestly to the saying 'home is where the heart is.'
