Synopsis
When Teresa and Myron Palmer purchased 200 acres of former farmland adjacent to their family farm, the land came with a nondescript 1970s ranch house. And when their daughter Lauren told them she was quitting her job to start farming with her father, Teresa had the idea of fixing up the ranch house so Lauren could have a place of her own. Teresa knew her daughter's sense of style well enough to feel comfortable blending rustic woods and the simple country furnishings Lauren loves with mid-century modern chairs, warehouse chic light fixtures, and unexpected oversized wall art. Where something comes from and when it was made is less important t than its intrinsic beauty and functionality. This private haven is where Lauren frequently heads after a long day tending to her crops and the business side of farming. And it's just one of the reasons that in the Palmer family, everyone agrees Mother knows best.
