Synopsis
The original property was beautiful on the outside but needed so much work, both structural and cosmetic, that it wasn't worth saving, so Ruth Carroll and her husband took the decision to completely demolish and re-build. Ruth knew it was going to be hard to create a charming new build, but by adding traditional touches, such as a log burner and panelling, she's managed to get the best of both worlds; an inviting new build full of cosy corners.
