Synopsis
Born and raised in Paris, France, and spending summers away from the city of light, Fifi O'Neill brought first-hand knowledge of French Country style when she settled in the States. When it comes to French Country design and decorating it is de rigueur that things should look like they have always been there, that nothing should ever be contrived or appear special made. However, not everything has to be old, of course. One of Fifi's favorite tricks is finding new items in retail stores and mixing them in with vintage for contrast. But what you won't find in her home are fancy antiques or fussy touches. 'Homemade pieces that show their age and sentimental items like paintings done by friends are a big part of my home. Everything I own seems to have its own nice story.'
