David and Sue's Art Deco House

Built in 1935 for a wealthy Cornish family, this striking house was bought by Sue and David Morffew in 2004.

Synopsis
The couple had long loved the glamorous, streamlined Art Deco style of Miami homes, which they had admired on holiday, and decided to restore or create as many of these original features as possible. These included designing a kitchen extension with an American dining booth, replacing wooden windows with black aluminium ones and installing a Hollywood-style en suite bathroom. Spectacular Art Deco antiques enhance the picture.
