Synopsis
Not UK - We drove past the house just as they were putting up the for sale sign, we had always liked the road it was on. The house had a cottage feel about it and felt really welcoming. We were looking for something to renovate and the existing layout didn’t suit us, however, we could see what it would take to make it into a more practical family home and we made an offer, which was accepted.

I was pregnant at the time, so we decided to stay in our rented flat, while the building work was carried out and Autumn was born just as we got the planning permission. Luckily Sam’s mother was on hand to be on site when the work started, as she lives very close by and helped with builders and deliveries.
