Synopsis
‘Christmas is my favourite time of year,’ says Liz Langley. ‘I get the trees the first weekend of December and decorate as soon as I can. I love natural decorations so I go outside and get foliage from the hedgerows and holly from the bushes and use it to make wreaths. I really enjoy being creative - I love the detail of it all.’
The rural surroundings are perfect for gathering greenery and it was the idyllic setting that first attracted Liz and Jonny to the house. ‘We loved its location and felt it was right for us all, plus it had space for people to stay. We completely fell in love with it as we liked the way it rambled on. As the kitchen is at the heart of the house, it’s very sociable. We wanted open fires, interesting rooms and character and it has those in abundance.’
