Synopsis
The property was derelict with no sanitation, an earth floor and leaking roof, so the family lived in a caravan while renovations were carried out over the following year. Vanessa added new windows and French doors to the garden, cutting through metre thick walls. She also designed a beautiful, green oak, garden room and gave the whole house a light, Scandi/New England look thanks to her choice of soft, ice-creamy paint shades.
