Synopsis
But this is not just any old Shepherd’s hut. With Crittall doors and sophisticated panelled walls, Sheryl commissioned Plain Huts to design and tailor the hut to their specific requirements. Having had Crittall windows installed in their home, the couple wanted to continue the industrial theme through to the hut. Sheryl, who usually prefers a more neutral palette, chose the deep ochre walls to reflect the colour of the fields in late summer. In contrast to the ochre, she introduced a variety of pink hues within the furnishings to add warmth on cold winter days. With an eye for interior design, Sheryl’s individual style is elegant yet eclectic with a considered blend of vintage finds teamed with modern additions. Contrasting textures - from the natural timber floor to the opulent crushed velvet on the sofa - sit in harmony in this rather stylish miniature retreat.
