Synopsis
In the spring of 2013 they bought and moved into this cosy, Victorian cottage with its inspirational garden. No structural work was needed but the 1970s kitchen extension needed renovating. Sharon is fond of the retro look and the kitchen is stunning with an orange and grey colour scheme and Mondrian-style painted units. Rather than fill the cottage with rustic furniture, Sharon found pieces with a mid-century modern look – such as Ercol and G-plan. A great collector, she also uses every inch of shelf or wall space to display her artwork, ceramics and sculpture.
