Synopsis
Softly glowing with candles and fairy lights, the house is especially welcoming at Christmas, when Sarah Jane enjoys wrapping and displaying presents, filling vases with interesting hedgerow finds and plying visitors with cake made from a traditional recipe. Having owned the house for a decade, she has gradually transformed it from a beautifully proportioned but relatively plain property to a comfortable, practical and fashionable family home and convenient workspace.
