Patrick Cook

Patrick Cook was possibly born out of his time for he loves all things old. His home is a 3 storey mill house in Somerset built in the 1780’s and is full of furniture and collectibles that date from the 17th-19th centuries.

Synopsis
The furniture and objects within have all been lovingly searched for at dawn markets, auctions and sales, then bought and faithfully restored by him where necessary. Patrick is an accomplished artist as well a collector of antiques and on a more ‘modern’ note - he is also passionate about early plastics, in particular Bakelite, and is the owner of a famous collection of pieces which reside in the mill adjacent to the house and is the Bakelite Museum, the only one of its kind in thecountry.
