Synopsis
Having reunited with childhood sweetheart, Glenn, she realised her dream of owning a boutique when they found a property comprising of a double-fronted house, which dates back to 1677, complete with a shop front in the New Forest village of Milford on sea. Unloved and empty since 2012, it took only 8 months to renovate, extend and transform the building into a personal home and unique lifestyle boutique. In December 2016, the pair moved in with 18 year old Molly, Jake who is 21 and their two black Labradors. Balancing old and new, Clare has teamed vintage furniture with unusual finds from her travels to give the home a global feel. A sophisticated backdrop of pure white, allows for the warm tones and textures of natural wood and textiles to give heart and character to the space.
