Synopsis
Clare Brown has a passion for all things vintage that has, quite literally, taken over her life. ‘I always loved second hand furniture and textiles, and have collected them all my life,’ she says. ‘I love the quality of period items, particularly from the 1930s to the 1950s. You have to pay top prices for similar quality today. Furniture in the past was made to last too, and people looked after their things, so many old pieces of furniture are in good condition,’ she asserts.
