Synopsis
‘One day I woke up and I realised I was falling out of love with Brighton and realised I was living in the wrong place.’ In 2008 she bought a 1950s ex-police semi in north London that needed substantial renovation. It was important that everything in the new kitchen should be easy to reach without having to stoop or stretch excessively. An L-shaped extension was added and the ground floor reconfigured. White Corian worktops keep the room looking light and bright and a white glass splashback reflects light into the room and is very practical as spills can be quickly wiped off. Bright green was chosen for the units to enhance the view of the back garden.
