Synopsis
Have you ever wondered how some people seem to effortlessly achieve the eclectic, mismatched look in their home with ease? Well British textile designer Lisa Stickley is one of those people who has managed to get the balance just right, stamping her unique style all over her top floor Victorian flat in South London. Gloriously nostalgic, she has decorated and furnished it with the quirky, vintage, tongue-in-cheek style for which her textile and accessory collections have become well known. With her company’s retail shop on the ground floor and studio print rooms occupying the basement, the whole building has become a hub of creativeness and inspiration but none so much as her own home. “I’m always being inspired by things around my house for new designs and collections,” she says. Words: Ruth Welsby
