Synopsis
Having bought their house knowing it needed plenty of work doing, Lisa and Andrew Carter were determined to create their own special suite of rooms where they could really relax. Two bedrooms and a cramped bathroom on the first floor seemed the ideal spot, and DIY enthusiast Andrew was soon drawing up plans for a new bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. “We’ve already got a family bathroom, and the back bedroom was really large, “ admits Lisa, “and we did worry that it would be a bit decadent to just have it as our en suite, but we decided to spoil ourselves and go for it, knowing that we could reconfigure the rest of the house and still end up with the same number of bedrooms and that we would appreciate the luxury of having such an amazing space.”
