Synopsis
Downsizing but wanting to stay close to her family and friends in the Surrey countryside, Kim Low wasn’t at all convinced by the details of the rundown cottage she was sent back in 2013. ‘On paper it needed a lot of work, and the rooms weren’t huge, but I took my best friend, Alexe Meddings, who’s an interior designer, with me, and she agreed to become the project manager and designer if I bought it, and helped me to really see the potential.’
