Synopsis
NOT UK - Previously the building was a Victorian workhouse which was converted into a hospital, then flats, now it has been transformed into one house. A three-storey, cantilevered stairwell, made from copper, dark stained wood and highly tensioned steel cable graces the centre of the striking house. A multi-purpose, bespoke, walnut curved screen-desk-seat separates the dining room and study areas of the large open plan living room.
