Synopsis
ON THE outside Juliana Parker’s home is the quintessential Victorian flat, with portico entrance and views over a tree-lined garden square. Inside it’s an airy melange of original artwork and designerly pieces, punctuated by geometric pattern and brilliant pops of sweet-shop colour.
When Juliana and Joshua first viewed it last autumn, however, the property was suffering from an awkward layout, damp in the basement and was painted in magnolia throughout. ‘It was ex-rental, a bit tired-looking and needed some new ideas,’ she remembers.
