Synopsis
Julia Finney and her partner Ian, with their two children Jack 8 and Kitty 4, own an 1880s mid-terrace property in Cheltenham. They bought it four years ago and loved the fact that it was full of original Victorian features such as sash windows, high ceilings and good fireplaces. However the decor was dark and the kitchen was so small that only one person could work there at a time. The couple extended the kitchen sideways and into the garden, replaced the "sterile" old units with a less fitted look and redecorated throughout. Julia likes a country style for her interior and uses three main colours: blue, pink and green. She is also fond of using different scaled floral patterns together, or pairing spots with stripes, and she is a great bargain hunter.
