Synopsis
The couple embarked on a major renovation project, extending the house, removing some of the internal walls and excavating two feet of concrete from the ground floor to make a more level living space. One of the key aims was to pull natural light into the home, and they have achieved this with sun tunnels, roof lights and an abundance of glass. The new open plan living space comes into its own at Christmas, when the wood burning stove and a festive scheme featuring red and white decorations bring the home to life.
