Synopsis
Jane Clayton and her husband Richard loved their picturesque Somerset miner’s cottage, but with sons Bertie and Tom, now aged 28 and 26, both over six feet tall, it was beginning to feel snug. When they spotted a nearby farmhouse for sale, with outbuildings and land, it seemed like an opportunity. “We’d talked about a change of lifestyle, going into the self-catering cottage business,” recalls interior designer Jane, “and realised this could be the place.”
