Synopsis
Previously owned by the founders of OKA, city banker Victoria Ling, who has an eye for interiors, spotted the potential to turn the property into a rural haven for her family and friends and now spends most of the school holidays there with her husband and three boys, Digby, Tom and Rufus. In summer 2017, Victoria totally renovated the six bedroom house. Rather than over restoring, she was keen to preserve the period atmosphere and accentuate distinguishing features such as a book carving entrance, panelled drawing room and aged oak beams. The decor is elegant with a classic mix, complemented with sumptuous velvets and textiles which enhance the patinas of the dark panelling and aged stone walls.
