Synopsis
The couple decided to settle in the north, in the town of Aalborg in Jutland. They found the house from 1793 by chance, walking around the idyllic district from the 17th century. The rural style of the estate immediately appealed to them. It had a thatched roof, rounded oeil-de-boeuf windows and was surrounded by a beautiful garden full of old trees. They bought it, believing that they would move in in a few weeks after a little renovation. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be different. The work under the supervision of the inspector took a year. They renovated the interiors by bringing their individual style, nostalgic atmosphere and furniture, as well as family memorabilia that have been travelling with them since they got married and moved in together back to Poland. In this way, the style of their house stands out against the background of the neighboring buildings in the cool, Scandinavian design.
