Synopsis
When Helen Monaghan and Ian Hughes’s extensive Mid Century ceramics and furniture collection outgrew their Victorian tenement flat in the centre of Edinburgh, they searched around for an apartment that would complement their love of that period. ‘We thought our furniture would only appear truly comfortable in the right surroundings so when we decided to move, we chose to look around for a house or an apartment built in the 1950s or 1960s.’ Says Helen.
